She's not the most sociable Pokemon, instead focusing on training and growing stronger. She's very disciplined but will see red when those she considers "her group" are in danger. This is how Boober wound up catching her: When Traveler ran off and tried to play with some Buizel, she was in for trouble. When the danger became clear and Traveler fled, Detective was persistent in her chase, leaving Boober with no other option than to throw Pokeballs as Traveler did her best to fight. Fortunately, it worked and now Detective is one of Boober's Pokemon; the stoic but ultimately loving team big sister.
